Going out

‘Going out’ means different things to different people, but it always starts with a choice – the choice to give someone in your life a special status. You make a commitment to treat that person in a special way, and they make the same commitment to you.

Going out with someone should be a happy experience and should add something positive to your life. It should not stop you growing up as you want to or developing your own interests and character, and it should not add pressure or anxiety.
