Friendship and teenage girls

Friends (and non-friends)

Friendships are very important to most girls, and a good friendship can do you all sorts of good. But don’t rush into making friends with everyone – happiness does not depend on the number of your friends, and you can’t expect to like or be liked by everyone. Just learn how to get along.

Even with your good, actual friends, be realistic; you won’t agree about every single thing, you will all change over your teenage years, and you won’t generally stay friends forever. Don’t see this as a failure – appreciate your friendships while they last, learn from them, and let them go when the time comes.
