Understand age limits

Until you officially become an adult at the age of 18,  you will come up against age limits in almost every area of your life. It can be very confusing – you can be treated as an adult in some situations and a child in others. Some age limits are set in law, some are recommendations, some are just chosen by particular businesses. To make things even more complicated, some age limits are different in different parts of the United Kingdom.
