Sing-along tracks

You’ll probably have your favourite current songs to sing along to, but here are some classics:

We are the championsDon’t stop me now and Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen are the kings 🙂 of the sing-along tracks

Space Oddity – David Bowie in his red-haired, platform-shoe days. Brilliant.

Mamma Mia – ABBA: Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Benny and Bjorn in their hey-day.

Ironic – Alanis Morissette. Perfect when you’re a bit fed up with life. Great video (don’t do this at home!).

Wonderwall – Oasis. Noel Gallagher supposedly said: “It’s a song about an imaginary friend who’s gonna come and save you from yourself”.

Teenage Dirtbag – Wheatus. A glorious underdog-gets-the-girl song. Great for singing along loudly. It will make you feel better.

Alive – Sia. And the video might make you want to take up martial arts…

Firework – Katy Perry. The song to remind you to believe in yourself.

Pompeii – Bastille. Rousing.

California Dreamin’ – Mamas & The Papas. Glorious harmonies in this evocative song from an iconic 60’s band. Sing your heart out.

I Gotta Feeling – The Black Eyed Peas. Pre-party classic.

Titanium – David Guetta ft. Sia. Also good for dancing, running, releasing tension.

Shout – Tears for Fears. Let it all out.

Don’t You Forget About Me – Simple Minds. In the films ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Pitch Perfect’ and tv show ‘The Goldbergs’. Play it loud and sing it loud, especially the ‘la la la las’ at the end.

Valerie – Amy Winehouse. This version is Mark Ronson ft. Amy.

The Sound of Silence – Simon and Garfunkel. Ideal if you’re feeling a little melancholy.

Nutbush City Limits – Ike and Tina Turner. There is also this 2002 digitally remastered version of the 90’s release. It’s had a long life for a reason!

Teenage Kicks – The Undertones. Forget One Direction, this is the original and by far the best.

One Way Or Another – Blondie. Ditto above.

We Are Family – Sister Sledge. You’ll know this one.
